New Jersey used a five-run third inning to take an early 6-0 lead and cruised past the American Defenders of New Hampshire 10-0. Jackals starter Isaac Pavlik pitched six scoreless innings and RF Quinn Stewart launched a three-run homer in the third to give New Jersey plenty of breathing room. Stewart had two other hits in the contest and scored three times. Mark Romanczuk lasted just four innings and suffered the loss. New Jersey LF Ryan Rogowski had a big game as well driving in three runs.

Sussex scored two runs in each of the middle three innings en route to an 11-3 win over Brockton. The Skyhawks got a solid start from Roger Lincoln who earned the win by tossing five innings and allowing three runs. Carter Clements took the ball for the final four innings, did not allow a run, and earned his first save of the season. RF Maikel Jova led the Skyhawks offense with four hits and three RBI. Sussex 3B Jeremy Hunt batted in three as well and finished 3-for-5 on the night. John Kelly allowed four earned runs in four innings for Brockton and dropped to 0-1. RF Jud Thigpen homered for the Rox in a losing effort.
